Any waaayyyyy early!
After going to our scheduled specialist visit on Thursday, the doctor really didn’t like what he saw as far as baby B’s (Ella) umbilical cord flow. He also saw Monica’s blood pressure way up, and sent us to the hospital for steroid injections for the girls lungs and observations. After a night a decent blood pressure readings, the doctors decided Friday morning to go ahead and pop the girls out. At 9:25 am, baby A (Emma) was born, raising hell on top of that, and at 9:26 am, baby B (Ella) was born. She didn’t really say much, so they went ahead and stuck a breathing tube in her to help her out. Emma was 3.2 lbs, and her sister Ella, was 2.1 lbs. Little bitty babies! We were very happy to finally meet our little girls, just didn’t want it to be so soon!!
